Locating Maintenance Bunker B on the Map
To reach Maintenance Bunker B, head toward the southwestern region of the island, south of the central snowy mountain range. Your GPS tracker will highlight a green circle waypoint in this area near a dense forest path. As you approach the designated location, look out for an active cannibal camp surrounding the dig site.
The exact surface site is identifiable by a parked golf cart, survey equipment, and wooden caskets. Between these items lies a dirt patch marked by a distinct shovel icon on your HUD. Because cannibals frequently patrol this settlement, clear out local threats before attempting to dig.
Unlocking the Entrance and Tools Required
Uncovering Maintenance Bunker B requires having the Shovel in your inventory beforehand. Equipping the shovel allows you to clear the dirt mound and expose the subterranean metal hatch. Once the hatch is fully visible, open it up to climb down into the bunker tunnels.
Unlike some of the main story facilities, this maintenance structure does not require a keycard to unlock its entrance hatch. However, entering without proper weapons and medicine can be risky due to surrounding surface threats. Ensure your status meters are filled before making the journey south.
